The Society for TRESP under Tribal Welfare Department (TWD),   being the nodal implementing agency of Tripura Rural Economic Growth and Service Delivery Project (TRESP), with financing from the World Bank, is in the process of building a core project team for TRESP. This includes Chief Operating Officer, Specialists, Programme Managers (PM’s), Experts, Young Professionals (YP’s), Thematic Experts, Procurement & Finance Officer, Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) and Management Information System (MIS) Officer, District Programme Managers (DPMs), Block Programme Managers (BPMs), Accounts Officer and other Project Support Staff. The Society for TRESP has exclusive structures to implement its various interventions under the project. Overall, the Society for TRESP will have its three-tier implementation structure as mentioned below–

  • State Unit, known as Project Management Unit (PMU) and Project Implementing Units (PIUs),
  • District Unit, known as District Programme Management Unit (DPMU), and
  • Block Unit, known as Block Programme Management Unit (BPMU)

SELECTION PROCEDURE OF CONTRACTUAL STAFF IN TRESP :
Appropriate Human Resources are required at State, District and Block levels of Tripura Rural Economic Growth and Service Delivery Project (TRESP) for efficient implementation of the programmers under Society for TRESP, TWD. For ensuring the selection of the best candidates, selection procedure is of utmost importance.

General Guidelines

  • The entire Application Process will be done through online mode
  • The details of Application Form and result of each stage of selection would be available on the website of https://tripurajobs.tnmhr.com . A link would be provided at the website of Tribal Welfare Department, Govt. of Tripura.
  • Candidates are advised to visit the websites regularly for important dates and short listing stages.
  • The tenure of the TRESP Project is six (06) years (2023-29).
  • All the posts are contractual in nature.
  • Candidates would be initially recruited for one year, which may be extended for 3 years or more subject to renewal every year (with one day break) based on performance evaluation and as per need of the project.
  • All the positions are clubbed into four (04) categories for selection purpose only.
  • There would be different sets of Question Papers for each Category except for Category-I.
  • A candidate can apply for a maximum of two positions only across all the categories.
  • If a candidate intends to apply for two positions, she/he must indicate her/his preferences of the positions in the Application Section as per her/his required qualification and experiences against each position.

  • Based on the minimum Qualification & Experience against each position, the eligible candidate can apply for a maximum of 2 positions only.
  • Once a candidate is selected for his/her 1st preference position, the 2nd preference will automatically become null and void. Candidates can claim for only one position of 1st preference, if qualified and selected for two positions.
  • Candidates should indicate their preference for positions during the time of filling up of application form.

Note:

  • For Category –I, the candidate may have to make a presentation, if it is decided by the Selection Committee before conduction Personal Interview.
  • For Category-II, GD would be qualifying in nature, to be used only for short listing of candidates for Personal Interview.
  • For Category II & III, the final merit list would be prepared giving 85% weightage on written exam and 15 % weightage on Personal Interview.

A. Written Test:

Based on the number of applications shortlisted against each position, a written examination will be conducted for shortlisted candidates. The written examination will be of Multiple-Choice Question (MCQ) on a digital OMR answer sheet. The written examination will be for 100 Marks with a maximum duration of 90 minutes. The written examination will be applicable for those candidates who have applied for positions under Category II, III and IV, and shortlisted for the written test. Shortlisted candidates would be communicated on date and venue of the written test through mail/departmental website. The Hall Ticket would be available on the website of https://tripurajobs.tnmhr.com .

Questions Paper Details:

  • All the Question Papers will be in English language only.
  • There will be 3 sets of Question Papers for three categories as under:
    • Category II
    • Category III
    • Category IV

Note: Whoever apply for two positions within the same category will appear the written test only once for the relevant category. In case a candidate has applied for two positions under two separate Categories (i.e, 1 position each in two categories), he/she would have to appear for two relevant papers. For such candidate, there will be a separate time slot allocated to appear for another category paper.


B. Group Discussion (GD):

  • Based on the short listing of candidates from the written test, the selection committee will decide the number of candidates to be called for Group discussion.
  • Group discussion will be held position wise.
  • Group discussion would be qualifying in nature (having no bearing on the total marks of the selection process), and maximum of 5 shortlisted candidates per post would be recommended by the selection committee for the personal interview round.

C. Personal Interview:

  • Those candidates recommended by the selection committee under GD would be communicated through mail to appear for the personal interview.
  • The Personal Interview for Category I would be conducted for shortlisted candidates in person at Agartala, Tripura/ Online Mode.
  • The Personal Interview for Category II and III would be conducted for shortlisted candidates only in person at Agartala, Tripura.

  • The Personal Interview consisting of 50 marks would have the following break-up:

D. Presentation (If required):

Candidates shortlisted for personal interview under Category I, if required, may be asked to make a power point presentation on a topic, based on the decision of the selection committee before the conduct of personal interview.

MERITLIST PREPARATION:

  1. For Category I: For preparing final merit list, the marks obtained in personal interview would be considered.
  2. For Category II & III: For preparing final merit list for each position under these two categories, the marks obtained in written examination as well as personal interview would be considered. The written examination will have 85% weightage while personal interview will carry 15% weightage.
  3. In case of candidates having applied for two positions, and getting selected for both the positions, the candidate will be selected for the 1st position only as mention in his/her preference in the application form. In such case, the 2nd position will automatically become null and void, and will not be considered at latter date.
  4. Category IV: For preparing final merit list, the marks obtained in written examination would be considered.
  5. The merit list will be displayed on the website of https://tripurajobs.tnmhr.com /department’s Website.
  6. Before issuing offer letter to the shortlisted candidates, verification of relevant document related to educational qualification and experience etc. will be done.
